The EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Model is a tool for self-assessment that allows you to measure where your organisation is on its path to excellence.
The Centre for Competitiveness offers quality excellence assessment and recognition as well as independent advice and practical guidance.

EFQM Assessments
Conducting a review of operations against criteria of the EFQM Excellence Model. The aim is to reduce costs, increase sales and therefore generate impressive results
Strategic Improvement / Strategic Measurement training
Training courses which focus on how to take an integrated approach to managing and measuring improvement. Involves improved planning for improvement activity and identification of strategic performance measures.
EFQM Accredited Training
Official EFQM training providing accreditation for delegates.
EFQM Recognition
NI Quality Awards process based on the Excellence Model, incorporating different levels of recognition.
Northern Ireland Quality Awards
Since 1991 over 30,000 European organisations, large & small, from the private, public and voluntary sectors have used the EFQM Model as the foundation for improving their organisation. Levels of recognition include : NI Quality Award, Mark Of Excellence, STEPS ( Public and Private Sector, Committed to Excellence). The Awards are not an end in themselves but a means of assessing and recognising role model organisations against the most rigorous international quality standards while encouraging management and staff to continue their excellence journey to the next level. Excellence One
Learn - Improve - Excel.
Excellence One is a European wide, interactive and dynamic, online learning platform for Performance Excellence. It enables learning, networking and access to the latest developments in Excellence. Virtual Communities of Practice enable you to explore a topic with other like-minded participants with the support of an experience practice leader. You can also request benchmarking partners. It is suited to all organisations and all markets - private, public and voluntary.
