This full day course equips you with the tools to communicate confidently and make Professional Presentations with the minimal use of PowerPoint in a structured and effective manner. This is also excellent as a foundation for high level presentations, meetings and leadership communications.

The session is tailored to the requirements of senior executives in Tourism and Hospitality.

A major goal of this workshop is to help you understand the impact your communication skills have on other people. You will also explore how improving these skills can make it easier for you to get along in the workplace, and in life.

Confident communication is an essential business skill. Whether you’re delivering a client presentation, or speaking internally, these skills are crucial – and many people have a real fear of making their point. You can feel self-conscious, often showing this in your body language or a wavering voice. This highly practical communications skills training, with extensive use of feedback, will help you develop confidence, give you some great personal tips and show you how to come across clearly and with enthusiasm. You will learn the various styles of rhetoric that are applicable to a leader in your industry. The course is supported by extensive notes and resources.

The course will also teach you how to:

•       Make your communications attention-grabbing and highly memorable

•       Improve your non-verbal communication and increase your impact

•       Prepare effective audience-centred presentations

•       Be ready for questions - however challenging

•       Manage your state to enhance your communications

•       Engage and create a good relationship with your audience

The workshop will be led by Michael Comyn, who is well known in Hospitality and Tourism circles. Michael is a Master Trainer, RTE Broadcaster & Producer, Consultant and Communications specialist.  He holds an honours degree in Hotel Management, a Master of Business Studies in Management (Tourism) and a Diploma in Business Studies and Leadership. He is also a registered user of psychometric evaluations and emotional intelligence.

The ‘Presentations and Communications ‘workshop for Hospitality and Tourism Managers , which will be held on the 29th January 2019 at the Skylon Hotel in Drumcondra, Dublin.

The workshop will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Fee for the Workshop is €350.00 (including Vat) and includes, course  documentation, refreshments and lunch.

This workshop is by limited to 12 persons, to ensure individual support and the personal application of learning and techniques.
