Resilient Leadership 1-day Workshop

Introduction

CforC is delighted to be working again with one of its Leadership Development Partners. Toward is a consultancy firm providing training, coaching and innovative change solutions to the private, public and charitable sectors in Ireland, UK and the Middle East. Based in Belfast, they provide a fresh approach to supporting organisations using pioneering techniques from the fields of organisational development and psychology.

Our Approach to Developing Resilient Leaders

Our experience and research shows that those who have undergone resilient leadership programmes are able to develop their overall mental toughness and performance. We believe that bringing about positive changes in the resilience of an individual will also result in sustainable change within the organisation.

Aim of Programme

The aim of this one day programme is to introduce those in senior management positions to the importance of resilience and how this can impact on performance.

Research shows the link between resilience and performance at individual, team and organisational level. A more resilient organisation can expect higher productivity and the ability to proactively deal with challenge and change. This programme will use a range of applied theory, tools and techniques to allow the following areas to be developed:

  • Leading in Times of Change

  • Developing resilence as a leader

  • Understanding Crisis Incubation and its impact on performance

  • Developing Resilience in your team & organisation

By participating in this programme each participant will have:

  • Discovered innovative solutions to existing challenges

  • Understood the role of leaders in crisis incubation

  • Developed an awareness of tool and techniques to increase personal resilience

  • Understand appropriate leadership styles in dealing with change

Workshop Requirements

All participants will be invited to take the MTQ48 psychometric before the seminar. This measures an individuals overall mental toughness and how they deal with challenge, change, commitment and confidence. During the programme we will look at the results and their impact in developing personal resilience.
