Gold Star Service Excellence
Delivering ongoing Value Creation and Business impact:
The "Gold Star Service Excellence" scheme has been developed to increase the competitiveness of the participating organisations by creating real competitive advantage.
The scheme is based on research into International approaches to building world class service excellence and has been developed by Centre for Competitiveness (CforC) in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce (NICC), is endorsed by the Northern Ireland Consumer Council and is supported by Ulster Bank.
The "Gold Star" Standard - Why would you want it?
Participation in the scheme will deliver real & tangible benefits:

How do you get it?
The process is simple and very useful. It is composed of:
- Complete an assessment with a Service Excellence Gold Star "Approved Advisor": You answer a questionnaire about your customer service policy, processes and measurements. These answer should be honest for understanding your business and you can reflect about it.
- Identify the areas of strength & under performance.
- Agree an action plan to move the under performing areas to a minimum standard: You will receive support and mentoring from an appointed advisor.
- Validation: When you are ready to go for the Gold Star standard, you have to pass an evaluation of your progress.
- Achieve "Gold Star Serice Excellence": If the minimum standard of performance is achieved.
